And for city driving the NA owns. The gear ratio makes a huge difference in getting that power in the low end, and I just don't feel the magic as much in the TT until the boost hits. Thats real world evaluation. Now as far as useable traction, I see some good points for staying away from the leader gears. All things considered, when Nissan designed this car I think that they used the different gear ratio for the Z to not only preserve fuel economy but also to subdue any subsequent traction issues that would (innevitably) arise from the shorter gears with the size/type of tires that came stock. Also, of course your daily driver doesnt want to rush through gears so quickly. Not only that, but you are also limit your top speed (duh). But for the record, if the power can be planted, man would it feel good if my TT had the responsiveness of my NA. However, for long term practicality, I think its going to be best to stick with what I've got since I dont drag. My 2 cents...
